In the frenzy of releasing all of the Retreat items in one day, sometimes it's easy to miss a few must-have items. We've created several gorgeous sheets of special edition unmounted stamps, and I can't wait to finally show you the fun things I made with the Wild Rose, Rock Star, Beaches and Stamped Bouquet sheets. WILD ROSE UM img_8026-copy CARD #1 img_8029-copy Stamp the rose and stem with Carnation and Moss inks onto a card panel. Cut around the edges of outer leaves and petals, and pop up with foam adhesive. img_8030-copy CARD #2 img_8032-copy Stamp the oval collage onto white paper, highlight elements with colored pencils, and layer onto a card panel stamped with the same image. Add a few extra colored leaves from the UM sheet at the bottom of the oval. img_8033-copy CARD #3 img_8027-copy Color the roses and stems with colored pencils and finish with a touch of glitter glue (my favorite!) img_8028-copy ROCK STAR UM img_8015-copy CARD #1 img_8018-copy Combine many images from the sheet onto one card panel to create a collage. Color the components and create dimension with foam adhesive. img_8019-copy CARD #2 img_8017-copy Looking for masculine card ideas? This sheet of stamps is a great place to start! CARD #3 img_8022-copy Ever heard of an "earworm"? This is where someone sings the line of a song and you catch on and then just can't stop singing it in your head? I like it, like it, yes, I do! (You're welcome.) KRAFT-TEX FOLIO img_9746-copy Tricia used a really neat product in her Long Stitch Album workshop called "Kraft-Tex." It mimics a very strong fabric that you can sew, stitch, wash, crumple, stamp, ink, distress, dye . . . but not tear. I had a great time stamping and sewing this mini folio with removable inside pages. img_9750-copy Stamp the Rock Star images with India Black ink, color with your favorite markers and pencils, and sew together. img_9753-copy BEACHES UM img_8035-copy CARD #1 img_8036-copy Stamp one surfboard onto a separate piece of cardstock, color, and trim. Layer onto the card with foam adhesive. img_8037-copy CARD #2 img_8038-copy Our White Pigment ink works beautifully when stamping the solid images onto bright blue cardstock. img_8039-copy CARD #3 img_8041-copy Stamp the adorable sunglasses onto Lt. Blue paper, trim, fill the lenses with metallic paper and layer onto a card. img_8042-copy STAMPED BOUQUET UM img_9781-copy CARD #1 16jacs Jacqueline made some beautiful cards in her "Stamped Bouquet" workshop. The class involved stamping in several layers with our new Parchment ink, Jet ink, and chalk acrylic paint. The base of each card was a grey mid-tone, providing just the right contrast for the dark and light layers of artwork. img_8628-copy LAYOUT Check out all of the different ways the stamps were used to create a background, anchoring strip and foreground image on this layout. img_8621-copy CARD #2 Stamp the images onto dry chalk acrylic and add a soft hue of color with chalks. img_8624-copy KRAFT-TEX FOLIO img_9759-copy Stamp onto white Kraft-Tex with India Ink, color with your favorite markers, splatter with watercolor and sew into a folio that can hold documents or notepads. img_9766-copy Now, it's your turn to decide which stamps you can't live without. Me? I had to have them all! Kay Kay0216
