Make eight beautiful Peony Pages with this month's pretty kit! Read on to take a closer look. But first, if you missed our "unboxing video" take a few moments to tour the entire collection including the page kit, card kit, and stamps.

As always, your kit includes a video workshop. If you choose to follow the instructions provided, you'll complete eight pages with nary a scrap.

Let's peek at the Peony pages . . .

Look at the pretty bow/ribbon combo used to accent the printed cutapart. Simply nest the pink grosgrain and green linen ribbon after trimming the ends into a "v" shape and top with a pre-made bow. (Hooray! No patience required!)

If you haven't had a chance to view my ribbon basics video, check it out! I cover thirteen different ways to use ribbon on your pages, including this knot-free three part bow.

The printed cutapart sheet includes three large peony blossoms. Fussy-cut with minimal effort and adhere to the right side of the spread with foam adhesive. Add a row of three buttons to the page by sewing with waxed linen thread from your stash. It helps to pierce through the paper before stitching, and confirm the eye of the needle can pass through the button holes.

Layouts 5 & 6

To create a fun ribbon combo embellishment, punch a hole above and below the text on the title strip. Thread the pink metallic ribbon through the hole and disguise by adding satin flowers, as shown.

Layouts 7 & 8

Do you happen to have Club Scrap's White Pigment Ink and an ink applicator brush? Apply the ink through the masking stencil to create a beautiful addition to the lower left and upper right portions of the double page spread. (I'll demo this step in the assembly video.) Tuck one of the laser cut flowers behind the photo mat for a nice finishing touch.

For your convenience, several of the items featured in today's blog are featured below. They're all included in the page kit, but can be purchased separately while supplies last. And don't forget about our optional Mother's Day cutapart set. If you're looking to create pages specific for Mother's Day, simply swap some or all of them with the cutaparts included in the kit.

We hope April showers brought May flowers your way! Enjoy!

Tricia
