I really enjoyed the Memento Holder project from the 2015 Retreat. I've wanted to make a mini version for some time, so I thought, "Why not try it with Paris Flea Market?"

I found some smaller white envelopes similar to those from the project kit, measuring 5 x 7.5". Once the envelopes were folded in half horizontally, the dimensions for the rest of the mini book came together pretty easily.

My book's cover is made from the Paris Flea Market Black Print and has a 3/4" wide spine. Because the book has five signatures, pierce five pairs stitching holes at 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 and 5/8" across the spine, approximately 1" from the top and bottom edges.

I chose to skip the diagonal pocket step, and opted to add photo mats to that portion of the envelope instead.

Add Gray Coin Envelopes decorated with scraps trimmed from Paper Lace Mats to three of the inside pages.

Decorate each envelope flap with Vintage Lace Washi Tape.

The cover is embellished with a Crewel & Unusual Wooden Expression and a Jumbo Eiffel Tower Charm. The "i's" in "imagine" are dotted with Crewel & Unusual Lite Pearl Stickers.

I can't wait to re-print photos from my trip to the Paris Las Vegas and tuck them inside!

Editor's note: The Memento Holder project instructions are now available in our online store for immediate download. The original project's dimensions differ from those I used here.
