Here's a quick visual tour of what you'll find in the collection.
Let's take a closer look at the eight pages you'll make when you follow the printable instructions included with purchase sent in an email when the order is fulfilled. In addition, I'll guide you through the assembly process. A link to my video workshop is provided in the instructions document.
Layouts 1 & 2
I've been traveling to Jamaica since the early 70s, and a key element of Jamaican culture is their iconic Red Stripe. We've included cutaparts, three flattened bottle caps, and three round epoxy stickers to help you assemble a clever embellishment. Have your 1" circle punch ready to go, or simply trim the cutapart with scissors.
Jacqueline also cleverly designed a fun base layer for the jumbo "peace" charm included in the kit.
Layouts 3 & 4
The kraft mini envelopes provide a nice "anchor" for various cutaparts, as well as a spot to house extra photos or journaling. If desired, add a soft glow of black ink on the outside edges of the envelope with an ink applicator.
Layouts 5 & 6
Follow along with the workshop video to see exactly how the printed paper is torn into sections, exposing the white core of the paper to create more contrast. Incorporate another kraft envelope with a matted cutapart topped with red twill, the silver palm tree charm, and a triple wrap of black jute. (All included in the kit!)
Layouts 7 & 8
Punch a slot into the top of the journaling prompt, thread with yellow ribbon, and staple to hold in place. Tie a knot into a second piece of red twill and attach to hide the staple. Cute!
