Lavender Fields Hybrid Mother's Day Cards
1. After downloading the hybrid kit, print the the BONUS sentiment printable and the quad print. (I recommend printing onto Club Scrap's super-smooth white cover stock.)
2. Trim each section of the quad print to 3.25 x 4.5", so the pieces nest with the panels from the card formula below.
3. To prep the card bases, trim two 12x12 papers per the 8 of Diamonds card making instructions (Idea Deck 5, Diamonds, 2nd Edition). I used purples from our bulk paper selection: Botanicals Lilac and Moroccan Spice Purple. 4. Assemble elements as desired!
Use a distressing tool to add texture to the edges of the printable sentiment.
Remove the "forever my friend" sentiment from the printed sheet with a circle cutter; use foam adhesive circles to adhere to card panel. Add fibers from stash.
Use bookbinding glue in a needle-tipped applicator to adhere bud bits trimmed from the Lavender Fields flower sprigs. (I had a "bunch 'o bud bits" left over after assembling my card kit.)
