Working with the Lavender Fields Card Kit is an absolute joy, and I'm sure you'll agree! One of the things I love most about our card kits is that they provide inspiration for additional cards made from papers, stamps, and embellishments already in your stash.
Take a peek at the three unique card styles you'll learn to make this month.
Lavender Fields Card Kit - Set A
This vertical card structure has a doubled-scored card base. Punch a 1" circle from the cutaparts and attach to the inside of the card with a brad from your stash or your favorite adhesive. (Only apply adhesive to the top half of the circle.)
Tuck the artwork adhered to the short flap on the front of the card behind the punched circle to make the card stand up on its own.
Lavender Fields Card Kit - Set B
This is a 5x7" Lavender card with an overlapping gatefold. The band closure is made with a narrow cutapart strip sandwiched between a mini doily and a circular cutapart. No worries if you don't happen to have a circle punch or die. I've got a helpful tip for you in the video!
The next card set features a super-sweet floral sprig embellishment.
The sprig is quite "round" in shape, so you'll remove half of the buds from the flower to make a more one-dimensional object suitable for the card. Save the extra "bud bits" and adhere them anywhere! Like, on the wreath of lavender on this card, for example.
Lavender Fields Card Kit - Set C
Tie a small knot of canvas ribbon onto the stem of the bud and adhere to the left flap of the Green card base. Fray the edges of the cutapart on the square Green flap with a paper distressing tool.
Tuck the inner sentiment behind the square Green flap on the inside of the card.
Ooh, look! More "bud bits!" I just love them!
These cards are sure to deliver a lot of joy wherever they land.
Enjoy!
