Create Tricia's super cute Mini Accordion Book with papers and goodies from the Vintage Botany Deluxe Kit.
This adorable mini comes together in a snap.
To recreate my version, substitute papers from the Vintage Botany Deluxe Kit, trim them to size, then follow the step-by-step instructions found in Tricia's video.
Mini Accordion Album Assembly Details
Decorate the front and back covers of the book with the Deluxe Light Green Print--using the large flower as the focal image. To add to the vintage feel, apply Earth ink with an applicator tool to the front and back covers, accordion spine and the Light Green Print binder strips.
Trim two 3x4" panels from a second 12x12 Deluxe Light Green Print. (Be sure that one of the panels features the same flower as found on the cover.)
Flip the text print to the plain side, then center and adhere to the cover.
Fussy cut the flowers and foliage from the second panel.
Adhere to the panel using Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a needle-tipped applicator, overlapping the print still visible on the cover.
Add highlights to the flowers with a white gel pen.
Create a sentiment from a section of Dahlia washi tape by adhering the tape to a Light Green strip matted with purple.
Embellish the cover with a Postage Stamp Button threaded with yarn from the Fiber Pack.
