Since 2018, I've made it a personal challenge to complete every Club Scrap monthly page kit with photos and journaling before month's end. There's only been one year I did not complete that goal. Due to a very busy month, I never got the chance to complete the December 2023 Luminary Page kit - until now.
Luminary Page Kit
Although each Club Scrap Page Kit creates eight coordinating pages, I rarely use all of them for a single occasion or event. I recommend treating each two-page spread independently, and allowing the color palette to guide you as you select your photos.
Layout 1 & 2
While working my way through a stack of photos from my friend Oliver, I found photos that paired perfectly with the collection's color palette and theme.
Since I had more vertical photos than horizontal, I rotated the entire right page 90 degrees counter-clockwise.
Doing so meant the sentiment cutapart was now facing the wrong way, so I simply treated it as a photo mat and covered it with a cropped photo.
Layout 5 & 6
More photos of Oliver, Luna and Thea fill this two-page spread.
An extra photo gets tucked into the lower left corner.
And a single photo spans the space created by the twin Ivory mats.
Layout 7 & 8
One subtle change I made to this spread was using Amethyst Ink (instead of Yellow) when applying ink to the Masking Stencil.
On the right side, two horizontal photos are cropped to span across the four square mats.
