Little One Page Kit
Just like our monthly kits, it's not necessary to use all eight pages for a single event or occasion. For best results, treat each two-page spread independently when choosing your photos.
Layout 1 & 2
I've known this collection was in the works for months, so it was a challenge to wait for the Little One Page Kit to be released this fall. Now I can scrap photos of my (now) 7 month old grandson, Daniel.
Since many of the photos of baby Daniel were taken with a cell phone, there were more vertical than horizontal photos. As a result, one mat on the left page is rotated 90 degrees, and a slight shift in the surrounding embellishments retains balance.
Due to some breathing issues, our precious boy spent his first week of life at the NICU. Since this was an important part of his journey, I chose not to cover up the hospital's watermark on the center photo. I set the journaling block aside for use on a subsequent layout.
Layout 3 & 4
While the sentiment "Awesome people make awesome babies" is completely true, I decide to utilize the cutapart to mat an extra photo. This two-page spread features photos of Daniel's first visit to our home and big brother Patrick wearing his "My little brother is a NICU ninja" t-shirt.
Remove the panda face cutapart with a nesting circle die and adhere to the bear tag colored with India ink applied with an ink applicator brush.
On the right page, a single vertical photo spans the space created by the two stacked Ivory mats.
Layout 5 & 6
My husband and I have the privilege of watching both boys, Patrick and Daniel, on Wednesdays, which means I have plenty of time to photograph these three handsome gentlemen.
I stuck pretty close to the original layout design for this two-page spread. The baby tiger image was removed from the cutapart sheet with a nesting circle die then adhered to the tag custom-colored with India ink applied with an ink applicator brush.
Layout 7 & 8
The final two pages feature more photos from past Wednesdays with the boys.
Adhere a 3.75" square photo to the "nap" cutapart. Add the "remember this" cutapart and "love" charm (from Layout 3 & 4) below the horizontal photo.
Remove the bear face from the cutapart sheet with a nesting circle die; color the bear-shaped tag with an ink applicator and Mahogany ink.
Crop an extra photo to 2.75x3.75" and nest it onto the small horizontal double mat at the bottom of the page.
