Create an interesting background that really pops with Hybrid inks and the Paradise Jumbo UM stamps.

I have seen different variations of this technique over the years and just rediscovered it on Split Coast Stampers. Blend Neon Pink, Neon Yellow, and Neon Blue Hybrid inks with an ink blending tool on a 3.75x5" White paper panel. The Paradise White has a wonderful matte coat finish that is perfect for this technique. Allow the panel to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Cover the panel with the Jumbo UM leaf/flowers image stamped in Versamark Embossing Ink.

Sprinkle the panel with fine clear embossing powder and heat set.

Apply Onyx ink to the entire panel with a rubber brayer. The embossed images will resist the black ink.

Continue to roll on additional ink to cover the background. If necessary, wipe away excess ink from the raised surface with a dry cloth.

Create a card with papers from the Paradise Deluxe kit and the sentiment from the Greeting UM set. Finish the card with die cut fleece flowers and black brad centers accompanied by a fussy-cut leaf from the Art Nouveau UM set.
