Hops and Barley Remix Page Kit
From the lightest pilsner to the darkest stout, Hops and Barley's earthy palette of gold and brown really captures the wide range of hues normally found in different brew types.
Layout 1 & 2
I made only slight changes to this two-page spread. To minimize cropping, I didn't utilize the double mats on the left page. (Reserve them for later use.)
I skipped the fussy-cutting of the journaling block, and added an unmatted photo in the corner of the right page.
Layout 3 & 4
A bit of rearranging of the trimmed elements better accommodates my photos.
On the left, the cutapart acts as a mat for an extra photo. The cutapart sentiment (from Layout 2) relocates to the bottom left. In lieu of two small white mats, crop a white plain scrap to fit the space. Add journaling guidelines with a grid ruler and pencil.
On the right, shift the placement of the cutapart artwork...
...to make room for a full size horizontal photo.
Layout 5 & 6
Relocate the journaling block from the left page to the right to create balance.
Layout 7 & 8
A slight shift in the trimmed elements allowed me to rotate the twin photo mats on the left page to a vertical orientation, without compromising the overall look of the page.
Repurpose a Gold mat (from Layout 1) for the horizontal photo on the right side.
