Hope Chest Page Kit
Here's a quick visual tour of what you'll find in the collection.
Let's take a closer look at the eight pages you'll make when you follow the printable instructions included with purchase. In addition, I'll guide you through the assembly process. A link to my video workshop is provided in the instructions document.
Layouts 1 & 2
Cleverly pair the circular cutaparts with the tag-shaped accents, and "hang" them from the top of the layout with the coordinating plum satin ribbon. Don't forget to punch the hanging hole into the punched circle before attaching. (Ask me how I know this.)
Layouts 3 & 4
Jacqueline created four pieces of miniature artwork to fit within the pair of rectangular bronze frames we've sourced for this collection. Here, I used one within the frame, and it's a perfect fit.
Mat the other two pieces with green, use a slot punch to create a hanging hole on the left edge, and thread with ribbon to create an eye-catching accent.
Layouts 5 & 6
The self adhesive pearls come in strips. Simply use scissors to separate them into individual stickers. I'd recommend adding a tiny dollop of our bookbinding glue to ensure permanence.
Layouts 7 & 8
Don't let your craft knife skills get out of practice. Cut a small slit above and below the text frame on the cutapart and slide the beautiful rose ribbon through the slots. Wrap the ends around to the back and adhere the cutapart to the page. Finish with a pearl in each outside corner.
Use a slot punch to create an opening to thread ribbon through the top of the nested journaling prompt. Wrap the ends around to the back and secure. Then, tie a knot into a second piece of ribbon and attach with a glue line or your favorite adhesive. It's such a clever "fake-out!"
