I just love when things come together. After attending a water ski show last week, my High Tide layouts practically scrapped themselves.

High Tide Layouts

My friend, Alek, performs with a local water ski team called the Webfooters. The team puts on a free show every Wednesday and Sunday night throughout the summer. We finally got the chance to drive out and see him ski last week. Naturally, tons of photos were taken!*

Each year the Webfooters choose a theme, designing an entire show around it. They also compete against other teams around the area on a regional, state, and national level. This year's "Under the Sea" theme and color scheme matched the High Tide page kit perfectly!

After rotating the left page 90 degrees to better accommodate my horizontal photos, I couldn't resist filling the open space with a woodcut from my stash (Beaches 2016).

I cropped two horizontal photos to 4x3" to fit the vertical photo mat on the right side.

Coloring the cutapart strip with colored pencils made me feel like a kid again!

I'll admit I went a little crazy with the self-adhesive sparkle dots - they remind me of bubbles!

After scrapping the water ski pics, I had a two-page spread left over, allowing me to get a start on my Sea World photos.

I just love the bright, happy colors of this collection. Blues and greens are always my favorite because they go with EVERYTHING!

Happy scrapping!
