The Heroes Page Kit is ideal for preserving memories of Firefighters, Nurses, Police, EMS workers, and those who serve in the military. However, my personal hero is my daughter, Emma, who recently earned her Bachelor's Degree from Marquette University. I realized with just a few minor tweaks, the Heroes layouts were an excellent way to document her graduation.

Heroes Page Kit

As I assembled the page kit, I noticed many of the Cutapart sentiments applied to Emma's overall college experience. And those that didn't, could easily be replaced with photos.

Layout 1 & 2

Heroes Layout 1 & 2

The first half of the "Courage" Cutapart was perfect - the second half of the sentiment was replaced with an extra photo.

On the right side, trim a single horizontal photo to span the space created by the two vertical mats. One additional photo fits into the open space in the lower left corner of the page. Use the 8x8 grid ruler to ensure a proper fit.

Layout 3 & 4

Relocate the "Difference" Cutapart to the left page, covering the existing title strip sentiment.

On the right, shifting the individual elements slightly provides plenty of room to add a photo in its place.

Layout 5 & 6

Utilize the "Hero" Cutapart as a mat. Crop a single companion photo to span the space created by the two horizontal mats.

On the right, rotate the entire page 90 degrees counter-clockwise before adding the Cutaparts. Doing so provides the correct number of horizontal mats I needed for these photos.

Layout 7 & 8

Replace the torn "Hero" Cutapart with a wooden tag. Shift the "Greatness" Cutapart to the left to create space for an extra 4x6" photo.

I hope you enjoyed this quick tour of my finished layouts. I also hope my tips inspire you to make a few adjustments of your own the next time you complete one of your page kits with photos.

Happy scrapping!
