It is always such an honor to be invited to be the Guest Artist. I am so excited to share my Greetings to Go cards made with the Scandinavia collection!
Guest Artist Greetings To Go Cards
Set A:
Apply Permanent Jet Black ink to the owl image (Greeting UM Stamp ) and drag a crumpled piece of copy paper across the wet stamp. Stamp the owl onto a White panel several times without re-inking to create color variations.
Create the Herringbone technique on several panels. Add to the front of the cards paired with sentiments trimmed from the cutaparts.
Tie the gray ribbon in a simple knot and layer behind a sentiment (Jumbo Unmounted Stamps ) panel. Layer the matted sentiment onto a print made from the Digital Collection.
Set B:
Lay the Lite Bird Stencil onto a White panel. Create a streak effect with Jet Black Ink pulled across the opening of the stencil. Add bird details with various ink colors and highlight with glitter glue in coordinating colors.
Lay the Lite Bird Stencil on white watercolor paper panels and apply color with the Shaving Cream technique. Pewter Liquid Metals and Onyx Re-inker created a sparkly monotone effect. Coordinate the mat and ink colors for a cohesive look.
Set C:
Herringbone technique paired with a paper flower embellishment.
Die cut the happy birthday greeting (Sizzix Script Thinlits) from the print. Note: Be sure to keep all of the die cut pieces, even the insides of the letters. Die cut the same greeting four times with Gray paper. The die cuts are carefully stacked one at a time and adhered with Bookbinding Glue dispensed with a Needle-tipped applicator.
Create the Puzzler Technique (Carpet Tape Chronicles Video) panel with the collage image (Jumbo Unmounted Stamps). Create texture in each image by dragging a crumpled paper across the wet stamp.
Add Distress Oxide inks (Worn Lipstick and Broken China) to a rubber brayer. Spritz the brayer with water and roll onto a watercolor paper panel. Flick water droplets onto the panel and allow to dry. Embellish the card with punched paper flowers, ribbon bow, and a Felt Flower.
