Create a background with lots of dimension with this quick and easy ghosting technique featuring the Confetti kit. I had fun experimenting with the new photopolymer stamps and Polka Dot Stencil.

Ghosting Technique: Stencil

  • Lay the Confetti Polka Dot Stencil onto an Aqua panel. Stencil the entire surface with White Pigment ink.

Remove the stencil and clean it completely before the next step.

Replace the stencil over the inked panel. Offset the stencil slightly to one side of the dots to expose the Aqua panel beneath.

Stencil the openings with Fuchsia, Ocean and Moss inks.

Remove the stencil to reveal the results. It looks like colorful Swiss cheese!

Make a card with the panel paired with a Rinea Foil die cut sentiment. Adhere the die cuts and Shaker Confetti to the panel with Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator.

Ghosting Technique: Stamps

Stamp the sentiment onto a Pink panel with White Pigment Ink. Wipe off the stamp before moving onto the next step.

Add Fuchsia ink to the image. Align the stamp just to the left of the white stamped image. Perfect stamp placement is easy with the clear stamps!

Adhere the sentiment to a card paired with a Rinea Foil die cut cupcake and a colorful stenciled background.
