I'm not very good at wood working, but I enjoy making useful items from book board. It's a whole lot easier to use a craft knife and book binding glue than saws, screws and nails!
I was inspired me to make a storage box for my seed packets. It is constructed from book board cut to size, wrapped in Citron Plain, and decorated with Garden Shed embellishments.
You can scroll down to the bottom of the page if you'd like to take a look at my project in more detail.

The Floral Wood Tag stamped with mini alpha stamps from my stash to spell out "SEEDS".
I decorated the sides of the box with the 8.5x11" White Hive Print. The Butterfly (Art Nouveau UM) stamped in India ink, colored with markers, and fussy cut.
Wood Plant Stakes trimmed and white washed to create a faux picket fence.
A bit of Stickles glitter glue adds just the right amount of sparkle to the bee and butterfly wings.
I decorated the top of the hinged lid with an Embellishment Cutapart and Silver Watering Can Charm.
