The December Guest Artist is member (and card-maker extraordinaire), Lori Warren. I often enjoy Lori's cards on Instagram, so it was a no-brainer to invite her to be Guest Artist this month.
The Greetings to Go kit always comes with instructions, but Lori's cards demonstrate how easy it is to switch things up and make the cards your own. The addition of the Jumbo, Greeting, and Art Nouveau stamps and a few extra 8.5x11 plains allows extra flexibility. Mix and match these elements to create six unique cards.
Stamp rectangle border (Reunion 12/14) onto background with watermark ink. Apply several shades of Pearl-Ex Powders directly to inked images with round brush. Color tutu with Derwent Intense Colored Pencils. Stamp sentiment in black.
Emboss panel using a circle embossing folder. Splatter several colors of metallic paint over background. Use circle dies to create focal point and nesting panel for ballerina image. Cutapart sentiment.
Create collaged focal image by stamping cello and script (Paris Flea Market 03/16) in pink and blue, and piano in grey ink. Mat onto ink splatter background. Add ribbon, flower and stamped sentiment.
Use a brayer to apply purple metallic paint to treble clef; stamp onto white panel. Add paint splatters to background. stamp sentiment in black. Tear edge, adhere to mat (striped embossing folder). Use same metallic paint to customize label holder.
Emboss background panel using embossing folder. Ink raised areas with watermark ink, apply Pearl-Ex powders. Layer sentiment and ballet images onto white panel. Add ink splatters to background. Die cut circle shapes from silver panel, layer onto card to add interest.
Stamp ballerina and heat emboss with silver EP. Fussy cut and adhere to large cutapart panel, matted with silver. Add ribbon and charm.

3.75 x 7.25” WHITE CARDS
