Coming Up Roses Page Kit
Though each Club Scrap Page Kit creates eight coordinating pages, I rarely use all of them for a single occasion or event. However, in this case, all eight pages were perfect for preserving memories from the baby shower we threw for my dear daughter-in-law before my first grandson was born.
Layout 1 & 2
Believe it or not, I didn't make a single change to the arrangement any of the layouts! They were perfect "as is".
I didn't want to crop the flower jar any smaller than necessary, so I skipped the red mini mat and cropped the photo to fit over the photo box and sentiment.
Since I lacked any tiny photos, I chose to add the smallest fussy-cut florals to the frame with foam adhesive.
Layout 3 & 4
No changes here - the layout was absolutely perfect!
Layout 5 & 6
Normally I have more vertical photos than horizontal, but we set up a photo "booth" so each of the attendees could have a photo taken with the guest of honor. My friend* took all of those photos with a horizontal orientation.
In lieu of a vertical photo, I cropped two photos to 2-7/8x4", so I could stack them on a single 4.25x6.25 mat.
Layout 7 & 8
Aren't the colors in these photos perfect on these pages?
I repeated the cropped stacked photo treatment on another vertical photo mat. I know Elizabeth will treasure having a photo with my recently departed mother-in-law. I'm so thankful asked a friend* be in charge of photos - precious moments like this might have been missed had I been too busy hosting the shower.
