Please read on, especially if you are a card kit member . . .

Every so often our team gets together to evaluate how things are progressing at Club Scrap. We’re thrilled to report that page kit memberships are strong and stable. Thank you so much for being a part of the CS® family. Your participation makes this creative adventure possible!

We also determined that updates to the structure of the Card Kit club are necessary, and we've been working hard to explore different options.

Research and Development

Last November, I began experimenting with the application of paper trimming schematics to allow the end user to efficiently make cards from 12x12 papers. After putting together my first “cutting map,” I tested my theory in a workshop on our Anniversary Cruise. One student remarked that with this new approach, she could easily replicate the same cutting maps to create another batch of cards!

Since that initial kit, we released several special edition collections such as Full of Scrap, Navigation, Sprinkles, and Lodge that follow a similar format. Each collection includes 9 to 12 sheets of 12x12” paper (including two patterned papers), envelopes, (2) 12x12 printed cutaparts, detailed instructions, ribbons, and an increased allotment of goodies to embellish the cards. Perhaps you've already made greetings with these kits!

What's Next for the Card Club?

We are excited to announce that we will be making this update to our existing monthly Card Kit club effective October 1, 2019. The price of the kit will change to $21.95 to match the cost of the Page Kit club. The kit ships in a sturdy pizza box and will supply enough materials to create twelve unique cards, four each in three different styles, and will include a video tutorial. In addition, the instructions provide continued inspiration for additional card sets. Simply swap with papers from your stash, score, trim, and assemble. Sentiments can be added with stamps or other cutaparts.

Two Shipping Dates

Our production team will be consolidating our shipping schedule to two dates: the 1st and the 15th (or the closest business day thereafter.) If you have selected the 20th of the month as your shipping date, your kit will now ship on the 15th. This update will streamline warehouse efficiency and decrease "with kit" shipping errors . As always, we’ll continue to ship “ASAP” orders daily upon request.

While change can be difficult, I feel strongly that this new format is better aligned with Club Scrap’s mission to equip card makers with the tools they need to enhance their skills. The kit structure also positions us for essential growth as we expand our expo locations and workshops in 2020.

I can’t thank you enough for being with us on this creative adventure. I hope you choose to continue with a Club Scrap monthly kit, whether it’s with pages, cards, or both! If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out at 888-634-9100 or email info@clubscrap.com.

If we’re good to go, you don’t need to do anything. Simply await the arrival of your beautiful Expeditions Card Kit. You’re going to love it!

Happy Cardmaking!

Tricia
