I just heard Karen say this collection looks like "summer in a box." Spot on! Let's take a closer look.
Cantina Deluxe Kit
LAYOUTS 1 & 2
The multi-colored Fiber and Button Brads in the Embellishment Pack make it easy to add something special to every page. Life is better when you're embellishing!
LAYOUTS 3 & 4
A little satin ribbon goes a long way when you staple a 3" folded piece to a photo matte or cutapart. If the ribbon is wide enough, cut a "v" into each end.
LAYOUTS 5 & 6
Exactly . . . But if you don't have a photo appropriate for this caption, simply place a photo on top of the cutapart.
LAYOUTS 7 & 8
Combine the pretty checked ribbon with a pair of button brads to accent the Aqua printed border strip.
LAYOUTS 9 & 10
Printing on dark tones is extremely effective with metallic inks. The silver ink on the Teal paper really pops and allows the paper texture to shine.
LAYOUTS 11 & 12
The Enamel Stickers are a cool addition to this kit. They can be used as "droplets".
Or, cleverly arrange those droplets into a flower shape like Kay did on this cutapart.
LAYOUTS 13 & 14
A little splash of Yellow sets off the Teal and Aqua papers on this spread. Portions of the 8.5x11 Teal Print balance the 12x12 base on the left while the center portion of the prints was used as a pair of photo mattes on Layouts 5 & 6.
GREETINGS TO GO
The addition of a sheet of Dazzles greeting stickers helped make some jazzy Greetings to Go cards this month. For best results, keep a tweezers on hand when applying the stickers, and work slowly and carefully to ensure the intricate design doesn't stick to itself.
SET A
The Felt Flower Buttons are adorable! They're nice and flat for mailing, but still add a lot of dimensional texture.
SET B
The Dazzles sticker sheet comes with several large greetings and smaller accent images, as well. Use the whole thing!
SET C
Tie a small length of black satin ribbon to a felt button and use it as a pull tab on a dual-flapped card.
Don't forget to download your assembly instructions for the layouts and design tips for the cards. Or, if you're feeling super-creative, skip all of that and just dive in.
Cheers!
