Welcome to the Botanicals Blog Hop! Have we got a treat for you . . . over 20 talented bloggers are sharing their creations featuring the April Botanicals collection.
I immediately fell in love with April's beautiful colors and soft florals . . . I knew they would pair well with my favorite photos from Easter, Mother's Day, and of course flowers from my garden. For today's hop, I decided to create a scrapbook page featuring my favorite flower in the world, my daughter Emma Rose.
Years ago, Kay offered to do a mini "vintage-style" photo session with Emma, and who was I to say no? The papers complement the black and white hand-tinted photo perfectly!
To create the background, I stamped several different floral images in white acrylic paint onto a 12x12 Yellow Plain. I added border strips from the Cutaparts along with the green printed ribbon from the Embellishment Pack.
The 5x7 photo was matted with layers of Plain Pink, Plain Lilac and the Yellow CST Print.
I used Amethyst Hybrid Ink to stamp the sentiment, and the printed photo corners are from my stash.
Shall we see what the other bloggers are up to? Your next stop is Roni Johnson'. Here's a list in hopping order, just in case you get lost along the way:
