Fun fact: Since learning more about Hedi Kile's incredibly clever book structure, I've discovered that the binding on my book is considered a "crown" binding since the tips of the flaps don't meet each other in the middle of the book. I want to keep exploring these bindings and make more structures! (And I suspect you will, too!)

9x9 Blizzard Book
The book features a unique binding structure that utilizes origami to allow the pages to removed, if desired. The album has plenty of space for 32 or more photos.
Supplies Needed:
- 9x9 Blizzard Book Online Class (Instructions Download)
- Any Club Scrap Page Kit
- (2) 12x12 Text Weight Paper (to coordinate with the Page kit)
- (2) 12x12 Folding Board
- CS® Bookbinding Glue in a Needle-tipped Applicator
- 12” Paper Trimmer
- 3x14" Grid Ruler
- Scor Pal 1/8s
- Accordion Pocket File (optional)
- Bone Folder
- 3 in 1 Corner Rounder
- Pencil
- Scissors
Little One
Transform the Little One Page Kit into an adorable keepsake for baby. Just add two 12x12 Bonus Text Weight Prints and two sheets of Kraft Folding Board.
The completed book makes the perfect gift for new parents or grandparents. The 9x9 size is totally portable, so photos of the new baby can be shared easily with others.
Crop the cutparts as needed to fit the size of the book.
The 12" wide papers are folded at 9", leaving a 3" flap for each of the inside pages creating a fun opportunity for extra photo mats or embellishments.
I highly recommend grabbing a sheet of 12x12" text weight paper that you can use as a practice sheet. During your practice session, you'll learn a lot more about what makes a successful outcome than I could ever explain in a video tutorial.

This Autumn Glow version turned out beautifully. What a wonderful way to showcase memories of exploring fall foliage, family photos and more.
Be aware that due to having to adhere the final flap of the binding structure to the inside of the back cover, some functionality of the back page of the book can be inhibited.
You can decide if you want to tack down the little triangular flaps of the binding so the pages stay put, or allow the pages to be removed, replaced, and rearranged at will.
