Welcome to the Christmas Thyme blog hop! We have over a dozen talented bloggers sharing cards, pages and other projects made using the 2016 Christmas Thyme Collection: Including the Christmas Thyme Stamper’s Kit, Christmas Thyme Unmounted Stamps, and Christmas Thyme Digital Hybrid Kit.
I’m always looking for quick and easy handmade gifts–you know, for those occasions when you don’t want to spend a lot, but a card just doesn’t seem like it’s enough?

Coffee and chocolate are two of my favorite food groups, so I browsed Pinterest in search of neat ways to package coffee and chocolate gifts for my friends.

First, chocolate! I followed this video tutorial using the Envelope Punch Board to make a cute little pinwheel box to hold chocolate treats such as a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup or my personal fave, Ghirardelli chocolate squares. Yum!
Trim Green Plain to 6×6″. Stamp outside with images from Christmas Thyme (pinecone, sentiment) and Garden Shed (herb sprig on flaps).

Follow directions in video to assemble the box. Stamp Christmas Thyme sentiment inside using White Pigment ink.

Keurig coffee makers are more popular than ever, so I wanted a cute way to give an assortment of K-cups. There are numerous tutorials out there, but most require the use of a 1-5/8″ or 1-7/8″ circle punch–which I don’t happen to own. After a bit of searching, I was inspired by this tutorial.

I followed her basic steps to create the box base and divider inserts from Brown Plain, adjusting the measurements fit the dimensions of a K-cup.

While the sliding box cover was cool, I opted to make a traditional box lid from Green Plain, using the same technique.

The top is embellished with a printed panel (Christmas Thyme Digital Hybrid kit) matted with Gold Plain. The wreath image (Christmas Thyme UM) was stamped in Jet Black and colored with watercolor pencils. I added “berries” using red Stickles.
