Since the month of August is synonymous with back to school, we challenged our Artist Team to come up with pages, cards and projects inspired by this annual tradition.

While I love what Tricia does with the Greetings to Go each month, sometimes I like to do my own thing. I had a lot of fun with the July theme, so I was inspired to do something different with Office Space Greetings to Go. Office Space has a "back to school" feel, right?

First, I started with the 5x7" white cards. I didn't do anything too fancy here, just added some stamping. The thank you card will be perfect for a favorite teacher.

For the manila cards, instead of doing the fancy "bow tie" fold, I trimmed 1/4" from the long side of the card bases, then scored each base at 5". I centered one green panel on the front of each card. They fit the envelopes perfectly! Finally, instead of doing the gate fold on the coral cards, I wanted to create a special project.

I scored each coral card base horizontally at 4.25 and 8.5". When accordion folded, this left a 2" flap, which I used to connect the card bases together to create an album.

Add class photos of the students and it will make a great end-of-year gift for a teacher.
