November 2016 - Paradise
Bright, happy, cheerful . . . that's our version of Paradise! This month's kit features two unique, duplex papers. The reverse side of the Pink paper is Orange, and the reverse side of the Lime paper is Blue. The 105# cover weight duplex paper provides countless options when creating layouts and cards. (It also posed an interesting challenge in writing instructions.) Enjoy!
A NOTE FROM TRICIA
We've been working hard behind the scenes to help you prepare for the holidays with the timely release of our Christmas Thyme kit. The scrapbooking collection and stamper's kits are going quickly, so don't hesitate if you want to add them to your stash.
Watch for a remix of the popular Fluffy and Fido kits paired with the new duplex papers from the November collection. It will be available soon! Finally, our crew is looking forward to attending the Silver Birch Ranch Retreat from November 10-13. The beautiful two-hour drive to Wisconsin's North Woods helps us unwind, and we even get a chance to do some crafting of our own throughout the weekend. If you enjoy cropping with friends in a beautiful setting, keep this annual event on your radar for next year. It
never rarely snows this time of year!
December ushers in cold, frosty days to our part of the country, but wherever you may reside, Shades of Winter will bring warmth and beauty to your crafting projects! The majority of papers in the kit are neutral tones with one perfect accent color from our favorite paper mill in Italy.
KIT AND COLOR DETAILS
We incorporated two light-hearted fonts in the Paradise kit. Download the Curse Casual and Andrkn fonts and use them to create customized quotes, journaling and page titles with your favorite computer software.
The following Club Scrap inks will coordinate well with the duplex papers in the collection: Tangerine, Fuchsia, Peridot, and Lagoon. As usual, you can't go wrong with our highly pigmented White and deeply saturated India Black.
GREETINGS TO GO
My favorite card structure in the Greetings to Go kit is a fun "stand-up" version. The card base is scored with two outer valley folds and two inner mountain folds that allow the card to stand up on its own yet fold perfectly flat for easy mailing.
I have tons of photos in my stash (and in my future stash) that will be just perfect for my Paradise pages! We hope you do, too!
