I really enjoy the process, and working with the elements digitally allows me to re-arrange things until I'm satisfied with the layout.

Next, I write the trimming instructions and put everything together in the final document, print it, and try it out "for real"! I spend a few minutes studying the final destination of the trimmed papers and select them from the new collection.
Our family decided to take a last-minute January getaway to Jamaica before our daughter Emily had to return to school for her second semester. I couldn't believe how perfectly the Shibori designs coordinated with my pictures from the trip!
I had fun incorporating the Shibori Scalloped Washi Tape into the paper banners running across the layout. Use the 45-degree angle on the grid ruler to help mark cut lines for a perfect "v" at the end of each strip.
For a simple title, I stamped one of my favorite quotes from the unmounted stamp sheet in white pigment ink.
