Members: Have you downloaded your Zest for Life bonus formula yet? The formulas are just one valuable benefit of a Club Scrap subscription. They are a great way to use up the stash of paper you've collected over the years (wink-wink) and are the key to filling your albums with finished pages, quickly and easily.

Zest for Life Bonus Formula Sketch

Zest for Life Bonus Formula Layout #1

Gather papers from the Turquoise collection:

Paper A = Dark Turquoise Plain
B = Red Plain
C = Stone Print
D = Geodes Black Plain

    Shift the 3x4" mat down and add a 3x3" matted photo above it. Anchor a smaller photo with a red scrap and adhere to lower right corner of the page. Trim a 2.25" square journaling block from a plain white scrap. Use a grid ruler to draw light pencil lines to prevent journaling from going "downhill".

    Rotate the right page 180 degrees. Crop a vertical photo to fit the open space created by the two mini mats and rectangle mat (lower left corner). Adhere two 2.75" squares (not used on left page) in the open space in upper left corner.

    Layout #2

    Gather papers from the Zest for Life collection:

    Paper A = Yellow Plain
    B = Lime Plain
    C = Orange Print
    D = Orange Plain

      I liked how Tricia rounded the corners on the December 2020 formula, so I decided to try that again. I really like how it changes the "feel" of the layout.

      Crop a vertical photo to fit the open space created by the two mini mats and rectangle mat on the right side. Add an additional photo below. Mat photo with black (from stash) and add black printed washi tape to the border strip for a bit of contrast.

      To create balance, repeat the washi tape treatment on the left page. Stamp sentiment in white pigment onto a black marquee tag. Create a journaling block from a plain white scrap. Embellish with ribbon.

      I hope these two examples help demonstrate the versatility of the Bonus Formulas. Not a member? You can browse our selection downloadable page formulas in our online store.

      Happy scrapping!
