Create a fun project, card or scrapbook page for the new Club Scrap Chat Group challenge called Three In A Row. I have followed a similar challenge for years. I loved the idea of being able to pick three items from the board to use in my artwork. There are always so many options and possibilities.
How does it work?
This challenge is as easy as the classic Tic Tac Toe game, simply choose a row and make sure these items are included in your artwork. I have made a few samples to explain the challenge visually.
Regatta Card - Top Row Horizontally
Stamp the sailboat on a white panel in Embossing Ink. Sprinkle the image with white embossing powder and heat set to melt. Add Distress Inks to the panel over the image. Wipe off any excess ink from the embossed sailboat with a dry cloth. Lightly spritz the inked panel with water to create a dappled effect. Stamp over the entire white panel with the sailboat blueprints images in Sapphire ink. Swipe the ink directly to the wooden oar embellishments and adhere to the white panel. Pierce holes and insert silver brads to complete the card.
Peony Page - Middle Row Vertically
Add floral images around the perimeter of a 12x12" Red background with the Peony Floral Masking Stencil and White Pigment Ink.
Sprinkle white embossing powder randomly on the inked areas and heat set to melt.
Trim a Peony Floral Print to 10x10", fray the edges with a paper distressing tool, center and adhere over the stenciled background paper.
Cut Sparkle Pink panels into triangles. Adhere the triangles to strands of white fiber and form a banner.
Complete the page with a photo and embellishments.
