During a recent team meeting, we realized one of our oft-requested themes would integrate beautifully with the Plaid About You Page Kit. Everyone immediately got to work. The result: Plaid About Golf Cutparts!
The cutting map is exactly the same as the Cutaparts included in Plaid About You Page kit, but the sentiments are more golf-centric. Simply substitute the border strips, sentiments and journaling blocks for those included in the kit to create pages ready to document your favorite golf-inspired memories. Plaid About Golf Bonus Page Cutaparts
Layout 1 & 2
I have to admit, I'm not much of a golfer myself. Unless you count mini golf? Anyway, I settled for borrowing photos from a few friends* to complete these pages.
Even after filling each mat, there's still room to tuck in a 2.5x3" photo into the corner of the left page.
On the right page, add a second mat to the vertical (4" wide) photo.
Layout 3 & 4
Crop a photo to fit the top of the border strip cutapart. A bit of kraft knife "magic" brings the shamrock into the foreground. Ink the woodcut shamrock with Spruce ink and relocate to the lower right corner of the layout.
A third vertical photo tucks neatly into the open space on the right page. No mat needed!
Layout 5 & 6
No changes needed on this two-page spread!
Layout 7 & 8
Apply color to the woodcut shamrocks with an Ink Applicator tool and Spruce ink.
Repurpose the 4x6" cutapart on the right side of the layout as a photo mat. Since the journaling space is now covered by a photo, draw faint guidelines with a pencil and grid ruler to transform the small white mat into a journaling block.
