Nantucket Page Kit
Every monthly Club Scrap Page Kit creates eight beautiful pages.While I rarely use all of them for a single occasion or event, the June layouts were perfect for documenting memories from my recent trip to Portugal.
Layout 1 & 2
The first six layouts feature photos from our evening touring the Six Bridges along the Douro River between Gaia and Porto. We were blessed to have a private tour on a restored wooden boat by a lovely couple. Our experience included being served wine and charcuterie while cruising along the Douro. It was such a special evening!
I couldn't resist including a photo of the photo our hostess shared with us of the "soon to be" seventh bridge.
Layout 3 & 4
The theme couldn't be more perfect for these photos!
Trim a single 4x6 photo into three 2x3.5" pieces and nest them onto the tag "shapes" at the bottom of the page. (I skipped the burlap bows to avoid cropping the photos even smaller.)
Layout 5 & 6
More Douro River boat tour photos.
Trim a single 4x6 photo into two halves, crop the height to 3.5". Adhere each half to a 3.75x3.25" Red mat (created from the Pack of Panels) and nest onto the Dk. Blue panels on the left side of the page.
Layout 7 & 8
This two-page spread was perfect as is. This layout features photos from our gondola tour of the canals in Aveiro. The red paint on the gondola really "pops" on the Dk. Blue. Wasn't it nice of our tour guide to wear red?!?
I just love the rich color and nautical-inspired artwork of the June Page Kit. After trimming and assembling the pages, it took me a just a little over an hour to select, crop and adhere the photos.
