When I venture out into other craft stores or shops, it's fun to shop for items that will coordinate with upcoming kit themes. I found a nifty quatrefoil embossing folder and wafer thin die from Hobby Lobby to complement Moroccan Spice.
I've been dying to "play," and I finally snuck in some creative time between other deadlines.
When working with die cuts, I tend to get a bit frustrated with adhering the elements to my pages and cards. The new CS Glue Pen saves me from using my forearm to clear off the entire table in a fit of extreme annoyance prior to storming out of the room this frustration. Here, I layered the 3x3" die cut onto a piece trimmed from the 12x12 Ivory Print.
I just returned from a whirlwind weekend getaway to Nice, France, with my two sisters and two friends. We took a "Taste of Nice" tour and enjoyed an unforgettable meal at Bella Socca. I love how this page highlights that afternoon.
One of my favorite stamps from this collection is the "What a Wonderful World" sentiment from the UM Collection sheet. It really completes this card.
For the background, emboss a Red panel and rub the raised surface with our new Metallic Gold ink. Be sure to heat set the pigment ink to prevent smearing.
What supplies do you like to use to complement your CS stash?
