When I venture out into other craft stores or shops, it's fun to shop for items that will coordinate with upcoming kit themes. I found a nifty quatrefoil embossing folder and wafer thin die from Hobby Lobby to complement Moroccan Spice.

I've been dying to "play," and I finally snuck in some creative time between other deadlines.

When working with die cuts, I tend to get a bit frustrated with adhering the elements to my pages and cards. The new CS Glue Pen saves me from using my forearm to clear off the entire table in a fit of extreme annoyance prior to storming out of the room this frustration. Here, I layered the 3x3" die cut onto a piece trimmed from the 12x12 Ivory Print.

I just returned from a whirlwind weekend getaway to Nice, France, with my two sisters and two friends. We took a "Taste of Nice" tour and enjoyed an unforgettable meal at Bella Socca. I love how this page highlights that afternoon.

One of my favorite stamps from this collection is the "What a Wonderful World" sentiment from the UM Collection sheet. It really completes this card.

For the background, emboss a Red panel and rub the raised surface with our new Metallic Gold ink. Be sure to heat set the pigment ink to prevent smearing.
