The 8.5x11 Sunflowers Yellow Print makes an adorable box that holds a 3x3" maze book.
Want to create one of your own? Follow these easy steps:
1. Trim the 8.5x11 Yellow Print to 6.25x10.25". Score horizontally at 3.25, 4.75, 8 and 9.5". Score vertically at 1.5 and 4.75". Trim along the score lines as indicated by the solid lines on the diagram.
2. Round the corners of the left and right tabs and narrow flap with a 1/2" corner rounder punch.
3. Fold the paper along the score lines to create the box shape. Apply adhesive to the side walls and adhere to form the box.
4. Select two 12x12 Sunflowers prints. Fold each one in half and in half again. Make the same folds in the other direction.
5. Use a craft knife, ruler and cutting mat to add cuts along the score lines to make a maze. (For a helpful video showing how to make a maze book, visit this BLOG ENTRY.) Repeat steps with the second sheet.
6. Fold the papers into maze books and adhere back to back.
7. Insert the maze book into the box.
8. Decorate the book and box with stamped images or cutaparts, photos, and more . . .
