Create Love Birds pages with scraps from the collection. I used papers, fibers, goodies, and cutaparts left over after completing the Deluxe Selection Box and Notecard Carrier projects.

The two remaining 12x12" papers, Lt. Pink (LB) and Cranberry (RB), serve as the base for the layout. Trim left over Dk. Pink strips into squares and one large Dk. Pink panel into two 4.25x6.25" photo mats.

For the left page, adhere a 4x12" Blue along the bottom. Nest two border strip cutaparts and a narrow strip of Dk. Pink onto the blue.

Use a 3x14" Grid Ruler to ensure that the strips are level and evenly spaced.

Add a bit of flair by layering the fringe edged sheer ribbon over the narrow Dk. Pink strip.

Two Cranberry panels on the left page compliment the base paper on the right.

Adhere Dk. Pink strips above and below the Blue floral cutapart to create the illusion of a continuous flow of color. Using Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator works perfectly!

Arrange the remaining mats in a grid pattern. Ensure proper alignment with the help of the grid ruler.

For the right page, pair two border strip cutaparts across the top of the page. Add photo mats and a cutapart tag tied with burgundy fringe ribbon.

Adding Photos

Gather your photos and arrange them in such a way to best fit the layout. Note: Photos can be trimmed to fit across more than one mat.

Notice how the photo below spans across two mats but aligns with the tag above it?

Let's take a look at the finished layout.
