I've been dreaming about this collection for over a year. Who knew when I suggested the theme it would be the perfect collection to end 2020? The Kintsugi layouts are even more beautiful than I ever expected, and I'm excited to share them with you.

As part of my role in member services, I handle membership "changes" after the spoiler email goes out. It always makes me a little sad when folks want to skip a month. I try not to take it personally, but it typically strengthens my resolve to finish my pages and share them as inspiration.

Kintsugi Layouts 1 & 2

Emma and I went to an event last year called "Unhinged". It was a unique, immersive art exhibit. Emma was invited to hammer copper that would eventually become a feather on an ostrich sculpture. The artist demonstrated how heating the copper with a blow torch changes the color for added visual texture.

Instead of small photos for the three squares on the first layout, stencil the word "ART" (March 2006 stencil) onto ivory plain using Sapphire hybrid ink and an applicator brush. Ink the crackle texture in Sapphire and the leaf image in Sandstone (Kintsugi stamps) for added interest.

Layouts 3-6

The next four pages were perfect - I didn't add or change a thing. Don't these adorable photos of my son and his girlfriend look amazing on the Kintsugi collection?

Finally, the last two pages feature photos from a sunset cruise on Lake Winnebago. Tricia and her husband, "Captain Cliff" were our hosts for this magical evening.

Adhere an extra photo onto a manila tag and tuck into the organza bag.

The classic combination of navy, gold and ivory goes with almost everything, and the sentiments are appropriate for many different occasions. I hope I've erased any any doubts you may have had about this collection. What will you scrap on your Kintsugi layouts?
