While the Kids Rule Remix is ideal for preserving memories of your favorite kid (or kid at heart), I encourage you to look beyond the obvious when scrapping this fun collection. I discovered the colors were perfect for photos from a recent family trip to Universal Studios.
Kids Rule Remix Page Kit
I just love the cheerful primary color palette and fun artwork of the Kids Rule Remix. Many of the cutaparts are versatile enough for any occasion - and those that aren't can be removed, disguised, or covered with photos.
Layout 1 & 2
Photos from Super Nintendo World were a perfect match for this collection. As a side note, I took waaaay too many pictures! I was able to squeeze in a few extras with a bit of rearranging. (Extra mats were pulled from the Surf Shop Pack of Panels.)
Rotating the right page 90 degrees changes the orientation of the mats, while still maintaining the balance of the original design.
Layout 3 & 4
I trimmed both banner-shaped cutaparts to make room for additional photos.
The "crayon" sentiment is repurposed as a photo mat. Fussy cut a red balloon and tuck underneath the edge of the banner on the right page.
Layout 5 & 6
Pack additional photos onto this spread.
A single horizontal photo spans the space created by the two Yellow mats. Crop another photo to fit on the upper left side of the page.
Trim the "Live a colorful life" and adhere near the bottom of a photo.
Rotate the right page 90 degrees to change the orientation of the mats.
Trim the "amazing" sentiment from the cutapart and adhere near the bottom of the photo in the lower right corner.
Layout 7 & 8
The final two-page spread features the most changes. The black envelope/journaling cutapart combo moves from Page 6 to Page 7.
All three Aqua mats fit across the top of the page. One horizontal photo spans the space of two mats.
The third mat features a cropped "braver" sentiment, ribbon, and two blue heart blocks.
Rotate the right page 90 degrees to change the orientation of the mats.
Trim the "Why fit in..." to fit the horizontal envelope/tag combo; layer onto the small blue mat.
