Create wicked cool cards with Hot Summer Stamps paired with bold color papers and a lot of fun techniques.

The imagery and funky style of this collection inspired me to try some unique mediums when making my card samples. Sit back and let it all soak in!

Hot Summer Stamps

Card 1

Stamp the sun image repeatedly in Red Hybrid Ink onto an Orange panel.

Stamp the sun and waves image on a white panel using India ink. Add the sentiment.

Color the image with markers and mat with a Hooray Blue panel to complete the card.

Card 2

Stamp the collage images using white pigment ink onto the following papers: Hot Summer Red and Orange and Hooray Green and Blue. Dust with white embossing powder and heat set. Crop the panels and nest onto a white card panel.

Card 3

Stamp the surfboard image repeatedly in a rainbow of Hybrid Ink colors: Red, Tangerine, Yellow, Moss, Ocean, and Amethyst. (Alternate the direction of the stamp with each impression.)

Distress the edges of the white panel with the same ink colors applied with ink applicator brushes.

Stamp the sun and surfboard in White Pigment Ink, and heat emboss with white EP. Color the images with markers and fussy cut with scissors.

Stamp the circle image with Watermark Ink, and heat-emboss with champagne EP. Color with markers. Fussy cut the circle and pair with the sun and word collage image in a decorative cluster. A foam adhesive circle on the back of the sun adds a bit of dimension.

Card 4

Repeatedly stamp the sentiment at an angle onto a yellow panel using Tangerine Ink leaving one space empty.

Add the sentiment to the empty space using Ocean Ink.

Stamp the sun and waves image onto a white panel with India Ink. Add Nuvo Drops in a variety of colors inside the images. Use a needle to move the color into smaller areas.

Card 5

Stamp the sun onto a white panel in Yellow Ink. Color the image with markers.

Tear strips from Hooray Blue and Hot Summer Teal panels. Swipe White Pigment Ink along the torn edges, and heat-emboss with white EP.

Glue the torn strips along the bottom panel below the sun image, alternating colors as you go.

Stamp the sentiment in India Ink.

Card 6

Stamp the surfboard images repeatedly into the corner of a white panel using Yellow ink. Fill in with marker.

Add a palm tree die cut and sentiment stamped in Ocean ink.

Card 7

Blend Red, Tangerine, and Yellow ink in the center of a white panel using Applicator Brushes. Stamp the house in India Ink directly over the blended area.

Color the image with markers and a white gel pen.

Add sentiment using India ink.
