We've got another sketch challenge happening this month on the forum, and you can easily join us with the help of a new set of easy trimming instructions. Create four awesome cards with the Creative License collection!
To begin, gather four 8.5x11" papers from the Creative License collection, a paper trimmer, and a ScorPal. Next, download the instructions by clicking on the link below.
After following the trimming instructions, arrange the panels onto the folded card bases, alternating colors.
Round the corners of the 1x2.5" panels and stamp with a sentiment from the Stamped Bouquet UM set.
Create texture on the Dk. Gray panels with an embossing folder.
There were several large scraps left over once these cards were assembled. Create four additional cards with these scraps. (No scrap left behind!) Trim two additional 8.5x11 papers horizontally at 5.5. Score and fold horizontally at 4.25" to create four card bases.
Add interest and dimension to the Rust and Dk. Gray panels with embossing folders.
Attach Cape Cod Sothebys Charcoal Thickers to create the sentiments and embellish with metal gears from your stash.
Enjoy the free cutting instructions. Now, it's time to participate in the April sketch challenge. I can't wait to see your cards on the forum!
