Pair May's Bonus Duplex print and book cloth to make two adorable Fly a Kite mini books.

Gather:

Fly a Kite Mini Maze Book

Follow the Moroccan Spice Mini Maze Book instructions to score, trim and accordion fold the 12x12 Bonus Duplex print to form the inside pages of the book.

Use the Fly a Kite Pack of Panels to cut 2.75" square mats for the inside pages.

Trim one 8.5x11" Book Cloth (I used green from the Bright 8-pack) into four 4.25" squares. Set two aside.

Wrap two 3.25" squares of mat board in green book cloth. Adhere the first and last page the maze book to the inside front cover using bookbinding glue. Repeat with the back cover, sandwiching a length of ribbon between the last page and the inside back cover to create the closure.

Decorate the book as desired with additional paper and stamps from the Fly a Kite collection.

Trim the Bonus Duplex print into four 6x6" pieces. Download the Mini Squash Book project card and follow the instructions to origami fold three 6x6" papers. Use BB glue to connect the folded pieces to create the inside pages of the book.

With the book completely open, decorate both sides of each 3x3" section with a mix of plain, printed, and stamped 2.75" square panels.

A while ago I compiled a list of different mini book tutorials we've shared over the years. Why not give one a try? Be sure to share the results on the Club Scrap Chat group to inspire others, too!

Happy crafting!
