The Fly a Kite collection will arrive right when we need it the most. Just look at this gorgeous color palette . . .

A Note from Tricia

Let's begin with a very warm welcome to our new family members! Many of you heard about Club Scrap for the very first time at a recent "virtual expo," held as an alternative to an actual expo. Thank you so much for entering our world, even if you're not quite sure about a membership. I'm sure you'll find us to be a very friendly, creative, enthusiastic group, and we look forward to getting to know you better on our private Facebook Chat Group. See you there!

Speaking of expos, the situation remains very fluid. I have very little new information and will share updates with you as I am able. Below is the latest show line-up, but I suspect there will be more changes.

We recently announced the On the Cape special release. If you're interested, catch me LIVE on Facebook on Thursday, May 7, at 3PM (Central). We'll make the pages together (or I'll show you how to make them while you watch), and it will be a nice way to connect. If you can't make it, the event will be saved to watch at your convenience. Consider inviting a friend!

What's Ahead?

As we spend the summer of 2020 hoping to restore our lives to a bit of normalcy, we have the perfect collection to help you commemorate the process. June's Vintage Americana kit was added to our plan last fall and, again, the uncanniness of the timing does not escape us. Fire up the backyard BBQ, and take some photos of the fam. We'll provide a few stars and stripes for the occasion.

Inks and Fonts

Club Scrap's Leaf, Lagoon, Black, and White inks are my favorites for the Fly a Kite collection. Our inks are proudly made in the US, and our manufacturer has been effected by COVID-19 restrictions. If we happen to be missing a few colors you're looking for, we hope to have them back in stock soon!

If you'd like to coordinate your custom page titles and sentiments with ours, you'll need to download the playful Summer Lemonade font trio.

Fly a Kite Page Kit

Normally, I'd share a quick preview video of the page kit, but in lieu of that, tune in at the Club Scrap Facebook page today (May 1) at around noon Central for a LIVE "unboxing!" That's 10am Pacific and 1pm Eastern.

Especially if you're a new member, be sure to check out the full-length video tutorial to learn important tips about our efficient assembly process. You will find a direct link to the video embedded in your instruction download. Watch your email for Member Exclusive links to these important benefits.

Fly a Kite Card Kit

The Fly a Kite card kit is a lovely blend of three styles including an explosion card, color-blocked card and pocket card. You'll make a total of twelve greetings complete with embellishments, inside sentiments and envelopes. If you prefer to stamp your own artwork onto the cards, follow all of the trimming instructions and simply flip the trimmed cutaparts to the plain side!

Fly a Kite Stamps

It will be a joyful experience to work with the Fly a Kite stamps. Our US-based stamp manufacturer was closed for a good portion of the month, so we held our collective breath in hopes the delivery would arrive on time. I'm thrilled to report we are able to ship right on schedule! Stay tuned later in the month for a blog post about the cards we've made so far, and inspire us by sharing your own!

Fly a Kite Hybrid

Don't forget about the fun possibilities of a hybrid membership. It's the perfect complement to the page and card kits, expanding your creative possibilities. Karen is working on some tutorials for our hybrid newbies. Stay tuned!

I'll be back on Monday with specifics on the page kit. See you then!

Now, let's go fly a kite!
