Create gorgeous Christmas cards featuring stamps from two of Club Scrap's popular special edition collections: Ever After and Woodland Christmas. I found a beautiful card design on Pinterest and I knew I wanted to try it with the Ever After stamp sheet.
Switching up the color palette of a collection can bring new life and inspire fresh ideas. These stamps are not just for weddings and anniversaries!
Ever After Christmas Cards
Gather red, green and white panels (leftover Pack of Panels work great for this!) along with two folded black card bases.
To replicate my cards, create panels in the following sizes/quantities:
(2) 4x5.25" Fun and Games Red
(2) 1x3.75" Fun and Games Red
(2) 3.75x5" Farmstand Dk. Green
(2) 3x4.25" Fun and Games White
Stamp the leafy stem image in India Ink onto each white panel. (A stamp positioning tool is always helpful when making multiples of the same card design.)
Position the Woodland Christmas stamp sentiment onto the panel.
Close the door on the positioning tool to pick up the stamp. Add color with Moss Ink. Stamp the sentiment onto both white panels.
Color the leaves with red paints using a water brush. Add the deepest red color to the bottom of each leaf; pulling color into the rest of each leaf to create a gradient effect.
Adorn the cards with scraps of ribbons from Woodland Christmas and Fun and Games.
Use Black Foam Adhesive Circles to attach the white panels to create dimension.
Adhere the bows over the stamped images with Bookbinding Glue dispensed from a Needle-tipped Applicator.
Complete each card with Red Dazzles (Woodland Christmas Page Kit).
