Create colorful backgrounds with a technique inspired by Split Coast Stampers' "Sticky Watercolor". If you want to play along, gather your CS® Watermark Ink Pad, pigment powders and your favorite Club Scrap stamps.
Colorful Backgrounds Tutorial
Add stamped images to a white watercolor or mixed media paper panel with Watermark Ink. Cover the image with Color Burst Pigment Powders, making sure some sticks to the wet ink. Carefully tap off any excess. NOTE: It's important to work with papers that will not absorb water for this technique.
Spritz the entire panel with water.
Continue to add water as needed to distribute the pigment over the stamped images.
Allow the panel to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Once the panel is dry add a stamped sentiment with India Ink.
