One of the many awesome benefits of a Club Scrap Membership is the monthly bonus formula. Pair them with paper you already have on hand to easily create beautifully balanced layouts ready for your photos!
Have a big project or trip to scrap? Consider pairing the bonus formula with papers from the current monthly collection to supplement the original eight from the page kit.

Page Sketch

So much more than just a "sketch", the Cottage Garden Page Formula creates a well-balanced two-page spread from six coordinating 12x12 papers. This month's layout has space for at least eleven photos.
To get started, download the formula and gather the number of papers indicated. Trim and sort the cut pieces according to the step-by-step instructions. Finally, assemble the finished layout with the sketch as your guide. Once you're ready, add photos and embellishments—it's easy AND fun!
Cottage Garden Layout—Karen
To recreate the two-page spread below, gather the following papers from the April 2026 collection:
- Paper A = Flower Print
- Paper B = Yellow
- Paper C = Pink
- Paper D = Dk. Green
- Paper E = (2) Lt. Green
Once the trimmed elements are adhered to the base papers, it's time to add photos and embellishments.

I changed very little on the left side of the layout. In lieu of photos, I trimmed butterflies from the artwork on the Cottage Garden Card Cutaparts to fit the small square mats. I'll add journaling to the white square later on.

On the right, crop a single photo to 3-1/4 x 5-7/8" to span the space created by the twin Yellow mini mats.

At the bottom of the page, I skipped the third Yellow mat. Instead, I cropped a sentiment (from the Card Cutaparts) to 2-1/4 x 3-7/8" and added it to the open space. Embellish with an Organza Butterfly.

April Bonus Pages—Tricia
Even though Tricia and I scrapped the same collection, a different print, paper assignments and photos give each two page spread a completely different "feel". Tricia's gather list is below:
- Paper A = Card Print
- Paper B = Pink
- Paper C = Dk. Green
- Paper D = Lt. Green
- Paper E = (2) Yellow
Crop a bonus photo to fit the open space above the mini mat trio. The 8x8 grid ruler helps you determine the perfect size.

On the right, a Pink scrap offers a handy place to add journaling.

Pair six coordinating sheets of paper with the April page formula to create a well-balanced two-page spread. The trimming and assembly process takes only minutes, and the same instructions can be used again and again with supplies you already have on hand.
