Create the illusion of dimension on a card, inspired by Tricia's one layer layout technique. I completely fell in love with her layout the moment I saw it. The soft inked shading and collaged imagery took my breath away.

One Layer Card

Score and fold a 5.5x8.5" Pattern Play Gray Pattern plain paper horizontally at 4.25".

Mask off an area 1" wide with post-it papers and an acrylic ruler on the front of the card.

Apply Neon Green Ink to the area with an Ink Applicator.

Stamp the small skeleton leaf from the Art Nouveau UM set over the Neon Green masked area in Permanent Black Ink.

Remove this set of masks and continue to cover more areas with this same technique and stamp set.

Apply Ash Ink to the masked area and over stamp dots in Neon Green ink.

Finish the card with a stamped sentiment.

Apply Ash Ink to the masked area and over stamp dots in Neon Green ink.
