Create a fun, fab and funky pair of circle punch earrings with Pattern Play papers.

I found this unique jewelry idea on Flikr and couldn't wait to make a pair for myself.

Circle Punch Earrings Assembly Instructions

Gather three 4x6.75" panels in Deluxe Black print, Green, and Lt. Gray papers. Punch forty .75" circles from each color panel. Separate each color into four stacks of ten circles.

Gather ten Green circles, apply Bookbinding Glue with a Needle-tipped Applicator to the back of each circle, and laminate together to create an 1/8" thick disc shape. Repeat for the remaining circle sets.

Make a hole in the center of each disc with the 1/8" hole punch of a Cropadile Tool.

To make an accurate punch, adjust the setting on the punch to 3/8" which will reach the center of a .75" circle perfectly.

Apply glue to each disc and stack in an alternating color pattern ending with the Black print disc at the top.

Repeat with the second set of discs and allow to dry completely.

Gather two silver headpins, four lime green beads, and jewelry making tools to complete the earrings.

Note: I followed the steps in this technique video to attach the paper discs to the jewelry findings.

Holding the pin so that the head is at the bottom, layer on a lime green bead, the circle punch stack and finish with another bead. Create a loop in the top of the head pin, attach the hook earring finding and then wrap the wire around the loop as demonstrated in the video tutorial.

Apply a thin layer of Bookbinding Glue to the outside of each circle punch earring to give it a bit of shine!
