Create a unique gatefold card with a twist!

I found a die cut version of this gatefold card on Pinterest, and decided to put a twist on it by stamping the focal image with a large flower from the Succulents Jumbo UM set.

Score a 5.5x12" Succulents Lt Green plain horizontally at 1.75 and 10.25".

Flip the sheet over (bottom to top) and score horizontally at 3-7/8 and 8-1/8".

Fold the card from left to right beginning with a mountain fold. Continue with a valley, another valley, and end with a mountain fold.

Load the Jumbo UM flower stamp with Carnation and Mahogany inks.

Anchor the gatefold card flaps with two acrylic rulers.

Stamp the image onto the center of the card with very firm pressure.

Fussy cut along the outer edges of the flower image with a craft knife, cutting mat and scissors.

Cut one 4x 5-1/4" and two 1-7/8x5-1/4" panels from the Deluxe Lt Green print. Nest the panels onto the card.

Optional: Add details to the flower image with a purple colored pencil.

Complete the card with a stamped and matted sentiment for the inside of the card.

Don't you just love all the fancy folds?
