Did you know today, January 31, is National Inspire your Heart with Art Day? Well, that's just what we plan to do...inspire you with art made using the January Surprise collection!
I finished a couple of pages from my Surprise Lite kit. The pages below are Layout 7 & 8--with a bit of customization.
Stamp three balloons (Jumbo UM) and several streamers (Art Nouveau) in Sapphire hybrid ink in the upper right corner. Die cut balloons in green, blue and red (from Surprise HPOP). Trim four pieces of baker's twine and attach to the balloons. Tie a knot and adhere over the stamped balloons to add depth.
Print hybrid images onto White Super Smooth card stock using a color printer.
Trim cake image; adhere to page.
Die cut letters in red for birthday boy's name; adhere to Cutapart border strip.
Stencil the number "3" onto the journaling box in Sapphire ink using Alpha stencils.
